Finger
Dexterity-
Assessment as per EN 420 - 6.3 |
|
 |
|
The test is based on an Operator picking up
stainless steel pins of varying diameter by
their circumference between the gloved
forefinger and thumb, 3 times consecutively
and within 30 seconds without undue
fumbling. |
|
Level 5 is the highest level of performance
achievable, by fulfilling the test
conditions with the pin of the smallest
diameter. |

If breakthrough is found when examining
the test specimen at a given level, the
classification is made at the preceding
inferior level as per the Chart 1

Penetration
-
Assessment as per EN 374 - 2 |
 |
|

A B C D |
The test measures the penetration resistance
of gloves that protect against chemicals
and/or micro organisms. Presently, it is
believed that gloves which resist
penetration, when tested according to Part 2
of EN 374, will form an effective barrier to
micro-biological hazards. |
