DPL Occupational range of gloves is manufactured under an ISO 9000 Quality Management System and conforms to international standards to ensure user safety and product protection.

Governments within the European Community adopted legislation [89/686/EEC] to harmonise standards for Personal Protective Equipment [PPE] within the Community, replacing individual National Standards such as British Standards [BS], Deutsche Norm [DIN], etc.

Adopted in 1994, the CE standard defined wide ranging attributes concerning product specification and performance and addressed present day requirements of users.

CE Standards are increasingly acknowledged internationally as a useful guide for selecting the appropriate glove for an application.

 

In accordance with the CE Directive, PPE have been classified to protect against three possible levels of risk :
