We proudly unveiled our ESG Roadmap 2030 aptly titled “DPL Pulse” on the 14th of August. While this momentous occasion is a key milestone in our sustainability journey it joins a series of initiatives we’ve already undertaken.
From harnessing renewable energy sources to responsible waste management, our dedication to sustainability has been an ongoing endeavor. With the launch of DPL Pulse, we’re taking our commitment to the next level, setting ambitious targets for 2030 that align with our values and aspirations.
The event was graced by the Hayleys Chairman Mr. Mohan Pandithage, DPL Deputy Chairman Mr. Rajitha Kariyawasan, Hayleys Directors, DPL Managing Director Mr. Pushpika Janadheera, DPL Directors, GMC members, and our employees.
As a symbol of our collective responsibility, we gave each attendee a plant during the launch event. Reminding them that just as we put in effort for these plants to grow, our ESG roadmap flourishes when we put in dedicated effort.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be taking you deeper into the heart of our sustainability journey as we build on our foundation of past efforts, and stride forward with renewed determination, aiming not only to meet but to exceed the targets we’ve set.
