As a part of its continuous alliance to Mother Nature, DPL donated gloves for the national programme of beach cleaning conducted by the Marine Environment Protection Authority (MEPA), who has partnered up with Lions Club of Sri Lanka. This contribution is to aid the Government declared ‘National Marine Resource Conservation Week 2020’ which will be held for a week starting from 19th September 2020. The handing over of gloves took place in the presence of Hon. Mahinda Amaraweera, Minister of Environment, on the 15th of September 2020 at the Central Environmental Authority.
