Sri Lankan hospitals are facing a severe shortage of essential medicine with the current economic crisis. As the situation takes a toll, DPL has taken steps to lend a helping hand to various government hospitals. As a part of this project, DPL handed over essential medical supplies to the Medical Superintendent, Dr. Janitha Hettiarachchi, and the fellow doctors of the Homagama Base Hospital.
