DPL has made a donation of Palm-Pro gloves to the National Health Service (NHS) Hospital chain in UK to assist the frontline staff in their efforts to save lives during the Covid19 pandemic.
These gloves were handed over to Lord Ahmad of Wimbledon, the Minister of State of the Foreign and Commonwealth office in UK, the NHS Medway Hospital in Kent to Dr. Gihan Hettiarachchi-Consultant in Respiratory Medicine and is in the process of handing over the gloves to Barts Health, the largest NHS Trust in London with partner hospitals of NHS Nightingale chain.
The Sri Lankan High Commissioner of London, Her Excellency Saroja Sirisena, has extended her gratitude to DPL for its contribution to the NHS UK.
