As a corporate that continues to strengthen its communities, DPTL gave its support in the setting up of a COVID-19 center at the Khuna Nieng district in Thailand. The district being unable to handle the COVID-19 situation, due to only having one hospital with the capacity of 40 COVID-19 patients, greatly needed a center that would look after and contain the spread of the infected patients. In addition to the funding of the center, donations of Examination gloves were given to police and health officers that were located at the hospital, the COVID-19 center and at the checkpoints.
While giving back to the Khuna Nieng district, DPTL also ensured the provision of Medical Facemasks and sanitizers to its employees along with vaccines for 50% of its staff. In the near future, DPTL aims to have all its employees vaccinated as well as the employees of their outsourced packing operation.
DPL’s care for its community stems from the ethos that it has built on top of, that is why regardless of the situation DPL is always ready to lend a helping hand.
