The official grand opening of the new Electrician glove plant E2 and the supported glove plant J2 was held in January with the presence of our Chairman and Chief Executive of Hayleys PLC, Mr Mohan Pandithage and Co-Chairman of Hayleys PLC, Mr Dhammika Perera.
These two plants are a part of DPL’s long-standing capacity expansion project and are integrated with the state of the art robot dipping technology which is a key aspect of the glove operation that strives for maximum efficiency and safety while improving product quality.
Having faced obstacles with the Covid19 pandemic, skyrocketing prices and the unavailability of foreign technical experts, Team DPL took it upon themselves to plan and execute these projects with their very own home-grown expertise with the aim of providing an efficient delivery service for our trusted clientele.
