As part of DPL’s long-standing commitment to Community Development, under its flagship CSR initiative “Firstlight”, distribution of school bags were made to 1500 children of their smallholder rubber farmers at the Pinwatta bodimalu Viharaya in the Monaragala district. This event was organized for the 10th consecutive year in the effort to empower and uplift the livelihoods of farmer co-operative societies in its loyalty network.
